2015 Results

Thank you all for coming out to the 27th running of the Pisgah Mountain Trail Races.  Because of your support we were able to raise $3,000 for the Special Olympics of New Hampshire! It was the perfect day for a race!  with highs just touching 70 and temps in the 50's for the start of the race; we couldn't have asked for better weather.  We had 114 finishers for the 23K and 70 finishers for the 50k.  David Herr used his experience and course knowledge to come out on top yet again in the 50K in 3:45:32 and Ildi Gaal took the win in her ultrarunning debut, smashing the course record by over 14 minutes in a time of 4:17:06! In the 23K Greg Hammett, winner of Pisgah too many times to count, took home top honors once again in 1:41:49.  On the women's side of things Kehr Davis was victorious in 1:50:36, finishing 3rd overall and only 9 minutes back of the overall winner.

Results were posted Monday at and many pictures from the race can be found on our facebook page:

A BIG thank you to all the volunteers that came and helped out with aid stations, registration, parking, course marking and the finish line. None of this would be possible without your generosity!

Also a big thanks to everyone who donated to our raffle and post race feast, including Omer and Bob's running store in Lebanon, NH who donated 7 pairs of shoes(!) among other countless pieces of running gear, Teds sports in Keene who donated the race bibs and merchandise for the raffle, Burrows Sports, Echo farms, Big Deal, Riverside, Otterlimits, The Marina, Top of the Hill Grill, The Brattleboro Food Coop, New England Runner, Rumanto's Pizza and Keene Country Club.

Got Storage Space?  as you all know Pisgah Mountain Trail Races is a fundraiser for the Special Olympics of New Hampshire.  All profit from the race goes directly to SONH, which means any reduction of race expenses is more money in their pockets.  The space where all of the stuff for the race has been stored for the last several years is no longer available and the race is currently spending $90 per month for a storage unit in Chesterfield.  that adds up to over $1,000 a year which would cut our donation the SONH by almost 1/3.  We are looking for anyone within a 20 mile radius of the race that has a 10X10 enclosed area where we can store tents, tables, water jugs, aid station supplies, etc. if you know anyone who would be able to help have them call me at 513-218-3612 or email at dillinjl (AT)

We look forward to seeing all of you again next year!
